Best Laid Plans
I can't believe it's been nearly a year since I updated the site! Where did the time go? I'm not quite sure what happened (A global pandemic?), and I'm still behind on publishing new books and stuff, but at least today is a start.I finally got 10 new Twelve of the Best books ready (volumes 61-70), and a new collection of Super-Short Stories (Volume 6) available. That's only about half a million words of new content, for those of you counting.
And yes, it's just the beginning as I really am almost finished with a lot more. It's the final editing, book producing, and publishing that takes a lot of time (and isn't as much fun as writing new stories). Hopefully I'll get some more books done in the next few months.
In other news, these new books are digital-only, at least for now. My publisher, Lulu, has decided to make print publishing a lot more complicated, changing a process that has been working fine for years. (For example, they now require I buy a printed proof copy myself before they'll publish it. Ridiculous.)
Since I sell only a few printed books (they are much more expensive than digital), I'm not sure it's worth the hassle. Let me know if you think otherwise.
